Computational Wisdom

Computational Toolbox

“If all you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail,” says Abraham Maslow. Thus, there are two ways of living:

  1. Traveling all the lands with a hammer in hand: breaking locks by striking them with the hammer, hammering screws into holes, and chopping wood by crushing it with the hammer, or
  2. Adding appropriate tools to the toolbox for these tasks: a key, a screwdriver, and an ax.

Obviously, it would be wise to use proper tools for each task. In our opinion, virtually any task in the real world has a computational aspect. Our computational tools include algebra, geometry, logic, statistics, and algorithms.
